Barrell Consulting (ABN 36 499 659 686) is operated by Matt Barrell. This page gives a straightforward summary of the way we work. Your written proposal, service agreement and invoice set the exact scope for your business and take priority if there is any difference.
Services are limited to the inclusions, location, search terms, service area, implementation allowance, communication allowance and deliverables stated in the selected package or written proposal. Work outside scope is quoted separately.
Published recurring package prices cover one business location unless separately agreed. Additional locations, profiles, search areas or substantial service expansion may require different pricing.
Barrell Consulting does not guarantee Google rankings, Maps positions, search traffic, calls, enquiries, quotes, bookings, sales, revenue or a particular return. Results depend on competition, market demand, customer behaviour, platform decisions and the customer’s own response and follow-up.
The customer must provide accurate information, suitable access, required approvals, genuine photos and trust material, lawful contact permissions, timely feedback and one nominated contact. Customer delays may delay implementation but do not automatically pause a discounted or contracted period.
The customer remains the owner of its Google Business Profile. Barrell Consulting acts only as an authorised manager while permission remains active. The customer must provide express authority before profile management begins. Barrell Consulting does not represent Google.
Where included, up to two hours of planned website and Local SEO implementation is used on the highest-priority suitable work. Routine reporting and standard profile checks are separate from that allowance. Unused time does not carry forward and is not general WordPress support.
Google Maps Starter includes one agreed search term and one service area snapshot. Local Visibility & Tracking and Complete Local Lead System include up to three agreed search terms in one geographic area and one monthly geo-grid comparison. Additional tracking is quoted separately.
Telephone numbers, calls, SMS, email, AI features, premium software and third-party services are not unlimited. They may be subject to a published allowance or charged according to actual usage. Supplier prices may change.
The customer confirms that contacts supplied for electronic communication have appropriate consent or another lawful basis. Commercial messages must identify the sending business and provide a functional opt-out. Purchased or harvested lists are not accepted. Barrell Consulting may refuse database reactivation or bulk messaging where consent cannot reasonably be demonstrated.
The standard website includes one professionally structured design direction, up to five pages, complete first-draft copy based on supplied business information and two organised amendment rounds. Custom software, e-commerce, complex booking, unlimited revisions, major original copywriting and ongoing maintenance are excluded unless separately agreed.
After full payment, the customer owns the completed website. Unless separately agreed, the customer purchases and owns the domain, pays for hosting and becomes responsible for maintenance after handover. A website is not launched or transferred until the required final payment is received.
The customer is responsible for how its staff use CRM, call-tracking and follow-up systems, for responding to enquiries, and for keeping login access secure. Barrell Consulting is not responsible for opportunities the customer does not answer or follow up.
Setup fees and the first monthly payment are due before recurring work begins. Founding Partner conditions, minimum periods, loyalty pricing, cancellation and payment-failure terms must be stated in the signed agreement. Public wording must not be treated as the complete contract.
Support is provided during agreed business hours to the nominated contact. Unlimited changes, repairs caused by another developer, new functionality and urgent out-of-hours work are not included unless stated in writing.
